Xycora offers three autonomous agents, each designed to run extended multi-step tasks without continuous human supervision. The Diligence Agent performs structured due diligence across a document set — reading every contract, extracting key terms, flagging non-standard clauses, comparing provisions against a configurable playbook, and producing a structured diligence report. A task that typically occupies a junior associate for two to three days can be completed by the Diligence Agent in under four hours.
The Correspondence Agent monitors incoming correspondence across a matter — emails, letters, court notices — and for each item drafts an appropriate response, flags any deadline implications, and updates the case timeline. It does not send anything without human approval, but it eliminates the blank-page problem for routine correspondence and ensures that nothing slips through an overloaded inbox unacknowledged. The Compliance Agent runs periodic sweeps across a firm's active client portfolio, checking for regulatory filing deadlines, renewal obligations, and outstanding undertakings that are approaching or have passed their due dates.
All three agents are configurable: you define the scope, the parameters, the playbook, and the escalation triggers before a run begins. Agents log every decision they make during a run with a reason and a source citation, so the supervising lawyer can audit the agent's work product in full. No agent takes any irreversible action — all outputs are proposals that a human must approve before they take effect in the Case Workspace or leave the platform.
Human-in-the-loop by default
Xycora's agents are built on a clear principle: agents propose, humans dispose. Every output — a diligence finding, a draft response, a compliance alert — is staged in an approval queue where a qualified fee earner reviews, edits if necessary, and approves or rejects before the output is committed. This is not a limitation of our technology; it is a deliberate design choice rooted in the professional obligations of the lawyers using the platform. The goal is not to remove lawyers from the loop but to give them their time back for the work that only a lawyer can do.
